It is the responsibility of the management team to ensure that the quality management system and ISO17025 (calibration) is implemented and continuously improved by regular reviews to reflect both customer and company requirements. All staff shall comply with the quality management system and ISO 17025 (calibration) when carrying out daily duties, management will ensure that training and support is given. Seaward also has a commitment to comply with both statutory and regulatory requirements that apply to its’ products, processes and activities.
The scope of the quality management system covers the design, manufacture, service and support of electrical, electronic instrumentation used in a diverse range of application from electrical power through to medical instrumentation. Seaward claims no exclusions to the ISO9001:2008 standard as all clauses are applicable to its processes, service procedures in accordance with ISO 17025:2005.
- To achieve strategic excellence the following objectives must be achieved;
- Reduce Customer returns to 0.5% for existing products and 0.25% for new products
- Eliminate Product Recalls
- Increase Manufacturing FTP to 96% at 1st Cal and 99% at 2nd Cal
- Increase On Time Delivery to 98%
- Reduce Out of Box failures to 0.1%
